National Council for Certified Personal Trainers
The National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT) is different than most
personal training certifications. The NCCPT is akin to a trade school, providing
students with tools needed to work as a personal trainer. NCCPT instructors are
in the trenches, training. Although the curriculum is based on sound academic principles,
the information is presented in a practical manner so students can apply the academic
knowledge to themselves and their clients. In this ever changing industry, the NCCPT
constantly updates their materials to stay abreast with the latest cutting edge
techniques.
